Responsibilities include designing fixtures, creating LabVIEW and Python test automation, troubleshooting hardware and thermal/mechanical fixtures, validating firmware and host software, supporting regression testing, documenting procedures, and training contract manufacturers during deployment and debug.

Owns process and automation strategy for optical product manufacturing, including fiber attach, optical alignment, equipment selection, and manufacturing readiness. Drives design-for-manufacturing and cost, develops scalable processes, improves yield and cycle time, qualifies capital equipment, collaborates with suppliers and contract manufacturers, and transfers validated processes and equipment from NPI into production.

Lead qualification of optical devices, transceiver components, suppliers, and assembly processes. Conduct supplier assessments, design and process reviews, audits, reliability evaluations, and failure analysis. Own optical component quality, reliability, and manufacturability throughout the product lifecycle, while driving containment and corrective actions for business-impacting issues. Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external suppliers in a cross-functional environment.
