Prepares and reviews federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for corporate, partnership, trust, and individual clients. Provides tax research, resolves issues, mentors staff and interns, coordinates client information and tax deliverables, supports planning activities, and communicates tax matters to managers and partners while maintaining strong client relationships.

Directs private client tax services, reviewing federal and state individual and fiduciary returns, projections, and workpapers. Advises clients on tax compliance and planning, researches tax issues, identifies tax-saving opportunities, manages client accounts, supports business development, ensures timely project completion, and mentors and supervises staff. The role requires expertise in individual and fiduciary taxation, with working knowledge of partnerships, S-corporations, hedge fund, and private equity K-1s.

Lead audit engagement teams performing audits, reviews, and compilations; identify risks and audit approach; mentor staff; manage client relationships; coordinate with partners; develop budgets and pricing; support business development and stay current on auditing standards.

Lead and supervise BPO engagements, review workpapers and financial statements, prepare reconciliations, perform cash postings and internal audits, resolve client issues, and mentor staff including evaluations and professional development.

Manage commercial tax engagements: review returns and workpapers, provide tax planning and research for S corps and partnerships, oversee client relationships and delivery, coordinate with partners, and coach and mentor staff while maintaining knowledge of tax and industry developments.

Supervise audit, review, and compilation engagements including control testing, substantive procedures, and risk assessments. Develop audit plans, manage multiple engagements to completion, mentor staff, maintain client relationships, support business development, and stay current on auditing standards and industry changes.

Manage tax compliance and closings, review tax workpapers, respond to client tax inquiries, perform intermediate tax and accounting research, supervise and develop staff, manage budgets, workloads, and client relationships.
