Leads higher-education data transformation engagements as the senior data advisor. Responsibilities include executive and client leadership, scope and risk oversight, SQL development, data migration, source-to-target mapping, data quality, governance, architecture, and integration strategy. Advises on CRM, financial, analytics, and institutional data ecosystems; guides APIs, ETL/ELT, batch, real-time, and event-driven integrations; troubleshoots data and interface issues; mentors cross-functional teams; and supports sales and business development. Translate business requirements into scalable designs, oversee configuration, integrations, data architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Implements and maintains university research security and export controls compliance programs. Advises stakeholders on ITAR, EAR, OFAC, CUI, federal funding, and contracting requirements; conducts risk assessments; manages restricted-party screening, licenses, technology control plans, international travel reviews, reporting, training, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Review, draft, and negotiate research-related agreements (grants, clinical trial agreements, subawards, DUAs, MTAs, confidentiality and sponsor contracts). Ensure compliance with institutional policies and federal/state regulations, identify and mitigate legal, financial, compliance and IP risks, and collaborate with faculty, PIs, and administrators to support timely, compliant research contracting.

Design and deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics for higher education advancement and constituent data. Gather requirements, define KPIs, perform SQL-based analysis and data validation, and build actionable Tableau visualizations. Advise clients, run workshops, collaborate with data engineering/CRM teams, document business rules and tests, and support adoption and analytics modernization initiatives within a consulting environment.

Lead and manage payroll operations for higher education and nonprofit clients: supervise internal and state payroll processing, handle adjustments and exceptions, audit payments, support PeopleSoft payroll functionality and testing, stay current on labor/IRS/immigration rules, and assist with grants, cost reimbursement, and client-facing consulting and change management activities.
