Attain Partners is an innovative consulting firm dedicated to disrupting the status quo to change the world and improve the lives of those we touch. From strategy to technology and everywhere in between, our experts use their unique skills to advance the important missions of education, nonprofit, healthcare, and state and local government clients.

People are at the center of all we do, and that’s why we empower career growth, provide industry-leading benefits packages, encourage a flexible work environment, and foster a culture of inclusion to support the needs of our team. We share a collective passion for our mission and our people. Guided by our seven core values, The Attain Way, our vision is the foundation of our culture—to be and attain the best.

We are seeking a strategic thinker and consultant with experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and IT transformation to lead engagements across business process assessment, technology strategy, organizational readiness, Workday implementation advisory, and post-production support. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to apply their Workday technology experience as Workday customer or system implementor, to a broader strategic context, helping clients navigate complex decisions, align technology with mission, and drive meaningful change. This is not an implementer role, it’s about shaping the vision and guiding the journey. As such, your Workday implementation and support experience is valued, but your broader strategic thinking, and ability to cultivate strong client relationships is what drives success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create end-to-end post-production lifecycle for client Workday solution, including incident and system request management in ServiceNow, and release guidance for biannual Workday releases and routine enhancements.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of Workday technical teams for Extend, Security, Reporting and Integrations, with focus on consistent and effective operations, and optimal capacity and capability.
  • Serve as a liaison with HCM, Finance and Payroll production managers and business leaders, balancing stability of the Workday solution with continuous improvement business processes.
  • Provide recommended improvements to the client’s ServiceNow platform to better facilitate enhancement prioritization, issue resolution, release planning, and system administration.
  • Provide leading practice guidance on design and implementation of Workday integrations and reports.
  • Collaborate with HCM, Finance and Payroll Product Managers to define and manage Workday product roadmap aligned to client enterprise business transformation objectives, prioritizing high-impact features and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HCM, Finance and Payroll teams to deliver enhancements and fixes using consistent, rigorous documentation and process standards.
  • Provide oversight into the client’s Workday security model, promoting compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Provide oversight to the client’s Workday tenant management approach, including communication to impacted stakeholders.
  • Help the client implement proactive monitoring and issue recovery processes for areas such as Workday platform performance, integration health and data integrity.
  • Supervise and mentor Attain Partners employees.
  • Support proposal writing and business development efforts on existing and prospective clients.
  • Support internal methodology development to create and maintain repeatable approaches, assets, and templates for client engagements.
  • Develop thought leadership based on career experience, active client work, and engagement with the Workday ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in multiple Workday technical domains such as integrations, reporting, security, and tenant management, as a Workday customer or systems implementor.
  • 5+ leading Workday technical workstreams over multiple areas such as integrations, reporting, security, and system administration, as a Workday customer, system implementor, or contractor.
  • Experience defining and managing execution of agile release management processes including backlog management, roadmap definition, prioritization, sprint planning and change control.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workday Finance and HCM functional solution, current Workday technical capabilities and Workday ecosystem.
  • Workday customer or implementor certification in one or more technical capabilities such as Studio, Orchestrate, Extend, Reporting, or Security.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to lead client engagements independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous employment as a management or technology consultant at a recognized professional services organization.
  • Experience working with mission-driven sectors such as higher education, nonprofit, and state and local is preferred.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts such as proposal writing and sourcing new business for existing clients is preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Experience supporting sales and business development
  • Position requires flexibility to travel periodically based on business and client needs
