The role involves cloud software development, microservices, observability, DevOps practices, and database query optimization.

Prospect and close new enterprise business across the West region. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, managing the full sales cycle, conducting demos and proofs of concept, negotiating proposals, meeting sales targets, maintaining Salesforce pipeline forecasts, processing quotes and orders, and communicating the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise. Lead frontend engineering initiatives for Grafana’s DataViz squad, from problem framing through rollout and measurement. Build and improve visualization features using TypeScript, React, uPlot, and eCharts; mentor engineers; contribute to design reviews and technical proposals; participate in on-call and incident response; support customer escalations; and collaborate across squads. The role also emphasizes open-source contribution, observability expertise, pragmatic AI-assisted development, and effective remote communication.

Lead negotiation and execution of complex enterprise SaaS, on-premises, privacy, security, professional services, and channel agreements. Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams on deal strategy, risk assessment, pricing, compliance, and global expansion. Improve legal forms, playbooks, workflows, and contract processes while advising on privacy initiatives and training business teams. Serve as a strategic, commercially minded legal advisor for high-value transactions with sophisticated enterprise customers.

Lead and mentor Commercial Account Executives across the West region, driving revenue growth, pipeline development, territory planning, quotas, and strategic account relationships. Develop annual sales plans, support complex deal closures, guide QBR and HBR preparation, and partner with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, R&D, and Customer Support. The role requires consultative selling, executive relationship management, strategic deal shaping, ROI modeling, and MEDDPICC expertise.

Prospect and close new business across the U.S. West region through outbound and inbound sales.
