The Senior Software Engineer will enhance Attentive's event streaming platform, architect high-throughput systems, improve tools for product teams, and tackle complex distributed challenges. Responsibilities include collaborating on messaging systems and modernizing the architecture.

Serve as the FP&A business partner for G&A functions (Finance, People, Legal, Facilities, Operations). Improve FP&A processes and tooling and partner with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting.

Lead the Targeting product area: define vision and roadmap, build audience/segmentation and recommendation experiences, partner with Engineering, Data Science, Design and Customer Success, run discovery and experimentation, and measure/optimize product impact to simplify sophisticated targeting for marketers.

Own expansion and retention for strategic customers by building executive relationships, driving renewals and upsells, forecasting, negotiating pricing/contracts, presenting usage/ROI data, managing commercial inquiries, and partnering cross-functionally to close deals and grow account investment. Travel up to 25%.

The Staff Software Engineer will build and scale machine learning systems for personalization, collaborating with teams to enhance project quality and performance.

Lead and expand data partnerships (data warehouses, CDPs, identity solutions) end-to-end, align product and GTM strategies, drive joint revenue and integrations, and manage executive relationships to improve customer outcomes and partner-driven growth.

Lead partner integration messaging and go-to-market for technology integrations. Build launch playbooks, craft content and co-marketing assets, enable partners and internal teams, drive integration adoption, identify case studies, and coordinate with Product, Partnerships, CS, and Marketing to amplify "better together" stories.

Execute and optimize cross-channel retention marketing (SMS, email, push) for large brands using the Attentive platform. Build campaigns, journeys, segments, and reports; collaborate with CSM, Support, and Professional Services to drive customer adoption, measure key metrics, provide creative solutions, and maintain documentation and internal workflows.

Act as a technical liaison between customers, Customer Success, and Engineering to triage and resolve technical issues via Zendesk/JIRA/calls. Handle incidents (including on-call), translate customer feedback into engineering actions, develop reusable solutions, identify and escalate bugs, and collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate site event incidents.
