Provides principal-level systems engineering support for Department of the Air Force battle network acquisition and lifecycle activities. Responsibilities include operational analysis, systems-of-systems architecture, requirements translation, interoperability design, risk assessment, execution strategy, and test and evaluation planning. The role supports sensor-to-shooter connectivity across joint and coalition forces, evaluates future-state architectures, and applies analytics, modeling, simulation, cloud, agile, DevSecOps, and acquisition expertise.

Lead EITaaS strategic planning for Air Force networking and telecommunications functions. Develop service life-cycle, process governance, oversight, management, requirements, and service-level agreement plans. Support application migration strategies, cybersecurity requirements, AFNet RMF implementation, operational transition, and stakeholder communications. Provide expert recommendations and independently resolve complex technical problems under general direction.

Lead RMF-based authorization and cybersecurity engineering for weapon and PIT systems. Assess architectures, perform A&A tasks, recommend mitigation, develop security requirements and strategies, use scanning tools (Nessus/ACAS/SCAP/STIGs), support DevSecOps reviews, and implement program protection plans including CPI/CC and Tempest considerations.

Lead program planning and execution for the DAF Battle Network. Develop incremental roadmaps, coordinate capability delivery and budgets, prepare acquisition documentation (DOD 5000), support IMS, RFPs, contract evaluations, risk mitigation, test support, and briefings. Serve as primary interface to program offices and advise government leadership on programmatic and acquisition best practices.

Design, develop, document, and maintain software solutions following the SDLC in an Agile environment. Implement DevOps practices for cloud and non-cloud apps, conduct systems analysis, integrate with teams, and support mission objectives while meeting customer needs.
