Plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements for state and local government clients. Audit complex transactions, prepare financial statements and reports, research accounting and auditing issues, manage client relationships, and schedule, delegate, and train team members while collaborating with firm leadership to deliver quality service.

Manage nonprofit assurance client relationships, audits, financial planning objectives, engagement teams, budgets, deadlines, and staff development. Assist clients with funding and audit goals while communicating engagement updates, conclusions, and recommendations to principals. The role requires public accounting experience, financial statement preparation and audit expertise, team leadership, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and a CPA license.

Advise clients on federal tax accounting methods, including income and expense recognition, inventory, capitalization, cost recovery, and accounting periods. Research complex tax issues, prepare calculations, analyses, Form 3115 filings, technical memoranda, IRS responses, and ruling requests. Manage multiple client projects, collaborate with firm leaders, and mentor staff while delivering accurate, timely solutions.

Lead transaction tax engagements including tax due diligence, structuring, modeling, and report writing for acquisitions and dispositions. Manage client relationships, mentor team members, coordinate with specialty tax groups, and oversee engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Lead and manage governmental audit engagements, build client relationships, mentor staff, monitor engagement budgets and deadlines, assist clients with funding and financial planning, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
