Leads GitLab’s Agentic Software Delivery product section across continuous integration, artifact management, continuous deployment, and observability. Owns three-year strategy, product vision, business outcomes, adoption, retention, revenue, investment decisions, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market execution. Build and operate Go-based automation for PostgreSQL provisioning, configuration, upgrades, failover, scaling, and decommissioning at GitLab.com scale. Develop a PostgreSQL-as-a-service platform, integrate cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tooling, improve database performance and reliability, and create safe upgrade automation. The role includes production ownership, architecture leadership, code reviews, documentation, cross-team collaboration, mentorship, and using AI agents in engineering workflows.

Build and operate reliable, scalable production infrastructure for GitLab’s user-facing services. Responsibilities include developing infrastructure automation and tooling, managing Kubernetes deployments, maintaining infrastructure as code, supporting CI/CD and GitOps, participating in on-call and incident response, improving observability and SLOs, troubleshooting production systems, and documenting operational practices. The role spans Intermediate through Senior Staff levels and requires strong software engineering, cloud, reliability, and asynchronous collaboration skills.
