Lead thermal design, analysis, and integration for UAV avionics and custom power electronics. Develop and validate hand-calculation, CFD, and numerical models. Drive trade studies, test planning, instrumentation, and model correlation. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and influence PCB/part selection and enclosure thermal designs to meet aerospace requirements.

Lead hardware reliability efforts for VBAT flight hardware: implement design-for-reliability, run environmental and stress tests (HALT/HASS, temperature cycling, vibration), perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations, support FMEA/design reviews, shape materials and manufacturing requirements, analyze field/test data with reliability models, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
