Counsel II will negotiate and execute diverse vendor agreements, including technology, cloud, SaaS, marketing technology, data platform, contractor, lease, and payment processing contracts. The role partners with Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Product, Information Security, Privacy, and other teams; develops legal playbooks, templates, and training; improves contracting processes; manages high deal volume; and provides practical guidance on privacy, data protection, and commercial legal matters.

Manage commercial and vendor agreements, amendments, NDAs, legal intake, contract approvals, and cross-functional reviews. Maintain templates, playbooks, training materials, and knowledge resources while communicating contract risks and requirements to business partners. Identify process improvements, meet internal service-level agreements, manage competing priorities, and partner with Legal Operations, Finance, Procurement, and other teams. Owns pipeline, forecasting, deal progression, merchant acquisition, expansion, and revenue outcomes. Manage the Loans Lifecycle software engineering team at Affirm. Set technical strategy, lead delivery of business-critical projects, ensure system reliability and operational readiness, establish quality standards, collaborate with product and analytics teams, and coach engineers.
