Leads major transportation infrastructure pursuits and projects from proposal development through design and construction support. Coordinates multidisciplinary engineering teams, manages scope, schedules, budgets, quality, risks, and technical delivery, and mentors staff. Serves as a technical liaison to public agency clients, contractors, and subconsultants while supporting constructability reviews, issue resolution, business development, and transportation practice growth across highway, bridge, rail, transit, and airport projects.

Design highway, roadway, drainage, utility, and traffic-control systems for transportation infrastructure projects. Develop preliminary and final plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and construction documents. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams, support construction-phase services, and perform field inspections. The role involves traditional and alternative project delivery methods, including design-build, for public agencies, municipalities, and private developers.

Supports civil design and planning for transit and rail infrastructure projects from studies through construction administration. Responsibilities include rail alignment, track, drainage, stations, yards, grade crossings, planning documents, technical specifications, bid documents, feasibility studies, field evaluations, reports, maps, presentations, and public workshops. Collaborates with project teams, clients, authorities, and community stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Supports transportation planning and engineering projects through multimodal traffic impact, safety, travel demand, roadway, intersection, transit, and parking analyses. Conducts transportation data collection, research, and tabulation; interprets zoning, land use, and demographic information; prepares planning documents and reports; evaluates traffic improvements; and develops conceptual roadway, intersection, and multimodal street designs.
