Provides managed-services systems engineering for IBM z environments, including troubleshooting, software implementation and tuning, storage management, disaster recovery, hardware upgrades, performance monitoring, and capacity planning. The role supports customer environments, coordinates with software vendors, documents systems, advises clients, contributes to proposals, and identifies service opportunities. Expertise in IBM installation procedures, core utilities, z ISV products, and UNIX System Services is required, with DB2, CICS, telecommunications, security, automation, Java, and WLM experience preferred.

The role is remote within the Southwest with client travel as needed.

Owns enterprise AI platform sales across assigned accounts, from discovery and solution shaping through negotiation and close. Builds executive relationships, develops business cases, coordinates technical and services teams, and sells AI infrastructure, software, governance, security, implementation, and managed services. Maintains Salesforce pipeline discipline, collaborates with strategic partners, presents to executives, and translates AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
