Leads the Appeals Division, supervising more than ten attorneys and two paralegals while overseeing approximately 400 criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts. Responsibilities include assigning and editing legal work, advising government stakeholders, managing operations and personnel, coordinating with agency leadership, developing training, supervising litigation, handling appellate and trial matters, and supporting investigations, policy initiatives, and amicus activity.

Represents Massachusetts convictions, criminal justice officials, agencies, and laws in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Handles appeals, post-conviction matters, habeas corpus actions, civil litigation, discovery, constitutional challenges, investigations, trial teams, policy initiatives, and amicus activity while managing a complex caseload.

Mediates consumer complaints involving investments, annuities, lending, insurance, and financial services. Researches issues, provides consumer guidance and referrals, collaborates with agencies and community partners, and supports investigations, litigation, and policy work. The role requires strong communication, research, organization, data analysis, and the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.

Investigate and litigate consumer protection matters involving social media, artificial intelligence, data security, privacy, and emerging technology. Responsibilities include identifying investigative issues, conducting discovery and depositions, handling motion practice, collaborating with enforcement entities, negotiating resolutions, and potentially supporting educational and policy initiatives. The role requires Massachusetts Bar eligibility, strong legal research and communication skills, sound judgment, organization, and effective teamwork.

Two-year entry-level attorney fellowship at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office beginning September 2027. Fellows complete three rotations across bureaus, receive training and supervision, perform legal research, advocacy, investigation, and case preparation across diverse practice areas, and may seek continued employment after the fellowship. Fellows must sit for the Massachusetts bar by July 2027 and be admitted before the second-year rotation.
