Lead hands-on R&D to develop and scale pyrometallurgical and high-vacuum processes for critical metals recovery. Design and run high-temperature experiments, operate and troubleshoot furnaces and vacuum equipment, analyze metals and process streams with analytical techniques, optimize process conditions, identify failure modes, and convert data into actionable process improvements to improve yield, purity, energy use, and scalability.

Lead scale-up, design, deployment, and optimization of pilot-scale production processes for critical metals. Own process performance, eliminate bottlenecks, translate data into engineering decisions, mentor engineers, and support capital and facility planning while ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Lead planning, design, and execution of greenfield and brownfield critical metal processing plants. Manage EPC/EPCM partners, capital budgets (> $50M), permitting, safety compliance, technical reviews, risk assessments, and scale teams to translate R&D into manufacturable, sustainable, zero-waste production.

Lead design, testing, and deployment of electrical power and instrumentation systems for industrial process equipment. Translate concepts into engineered solutions, produce schematics and documentation, commission and troubleshoot equipment, and mentor early-career engineers to accelerate clean metals production.

Manage and execute accounting and FP&A activities including month/quarter/year close, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, financial modeling, audit support, project-based accounting for plant construction, and preparing financial materials for fundraising.

Lead process design and scale-up of mining and metals operations from pilot to commercial scale. Own mass and energy balances, flowsheet development, equipment selection, and process optimization to improve throughput, recovery, and reliability. Identify and mitigate scale-up risks, support commissioning and ramp-up, and produce technical documentation and PFDs for stakeholders.

Own commercial legal work: draft, review, and negotiate supply, offtake, services, vendor, and partnership agreements; develop templates and playbooks; support sales and project teams; identify and mitigate contractual risks; lead negotiations through execution and advise on pricing, payment, and performance obligations.

Lead structuring and execution of project and structured finance deals to fund expansion of clean metals production. Design capital strategies, build financial models tied to commodity markets and offtake agreements, manage risk frameworks, negotiate commercial contracts, and partner on M&A, JVs, and strategic investments to scale operations.

Lead corporate financial strategy, capital raising, and risk management. Advise executive team, oversee reporting, controls, audits, and compliance. Build scalable finance systems and a high-performing team to support growth and investor relations.

Build and maintain detailed financial and economic models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, develop forecasts and long-term plans, analyze KPIs, collaborate with business units, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and investors to support strategic decision-making.
