Lead technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements for CIQ infrastructure solutions in Japan. Partner with account executives, conduct discovery, design architectures, deliver demonstrations and workshops, lead proof-of-concept deployments, and advise on integration, deployment, and performance tuning. Enable local partners through training and architecture guidance while connecting customer needs to CIQ engineering and product roadmaps. The role requires deep Linux infrastructure expertise, customer-facing communication, and fluency in Japanese and English.

Owns the full enterprise sales cycle across named West Coast accounts, including prospecting, qualification, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and closing. Maintains quota attainment, pipeline coverage, MEDDPICC discipline, and HubSpot opportunity hygiene. The role is remote and home-based in California, with regular travel throughout the Western United States.

Qualify inbound leads and run outbound prospecting to book meetings for Account Executives. Research accounts, conduct discovery, use HubSpot and sales engagement tools to manage pipeline, and collaborate with sales and solutions teams while learning CIQ's Linux, HPC, and AI infrastructure offerings.

Owns CIQ’s HubSpot CRM and broader revenue operations technology stack. Responsibilities include CRM administration, data governance, pipeline and forecasting reporting, sales commission administration, deal desk and sales process governance, lead routing, contract workflows, attribution, funnel analysis, and cross-functional partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and executives. The role also supports system automation, reporting accuracy, rep onboarding, quota and territory administration, and operational improvements across the revenue funnel.

Own complex enterprise Linux escalations from initial report through root-cause analysis and resolution. Debug kernel and user-space issues across bare metal, virtualized, containerized, cloud, and HPC environments. Serve as a senior technical contact for strategic customers, mentor support engineers, improve support standards, contribute automated tests, drive defects through Engineering, create documentation, participate in on-call and release reviews, and engage with open-source communities.

Lead and coach a West Coast sales team while carrying a full personal quota on named strategic accounts. Source, advance, and close enterprise infrastructure and software deals; enforce MEDDPICC, manage pipeline/forecasting in HubSpot/Salesforce, hire and develop reps, run deal reviews, and activate regional partner motions.

Build, patch, and test userspace packages for Rocky Linux; improve packaging tooling and automation; remediate CVEs; develop automated tests; collaborate across engineering, product, open-source, and sales; support deployments on servers, VMs, and cloud.

Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel components for Rocky Linux. Write and review C code, build kernel testing and automation, debug kernel-level issues, optimize performance, collaborate with hardware engineers, document designs, and mentor junior developers.
