Seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive sales for VAST Data's analytics and AI platform, requiring strong industry knowledge and exceptional sales skills.

Lead and scale a global commercial legal function for high-value AI and infrastructure transactions. Design global contract playbooks, manage regulatory alignment (EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA), build distributed commercial counsel teams, implement legal AI/CLM tooling, and enable GTM velocity while ensuring governance and risk-managed deal execution.

Provide technical leadership for enterprise storage solutions: assist customers with evaluations, benchmarks, configurations, and installations; collaborate with R&D on product requirements; support sales with architecture blueprints and presentations; develop field engineering capabilities and advise on support organization design.

Lead and build VAST's Corporate Development function: source, evaluate, and execute strategic investments and M&A; perform market research, diligence, financial modeling, negotiation, integration planning, and special strategic projects; support investor relations and maintain cross-functional relationships to drive strategic growth.

The role involves developing business, generating revenue, managing sales processes and customer relationships, and expanding accounts. Requires strong communication and technical skills in the storage industry.

Leads VAST Data’s cloud business development strategy and relationships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. Builds joint solutions, value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and co-sell motions that generate customer adoption, pipeline, and revenue. Engages executives, customers, product and engineering teams, and partner field organizations to advance complex AI infrastructure opportunities. Establishes business plans and operating cadences while building and leading a high-performing cloud business development organization.

Lead and scale VAST Data’s Federal Systems Engineering organization, managing SE leaders and teams supporting defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies. Establish technical strategy, operating models, hiring standards, and sales motions while partnering with Federal Sales, Product, Engineering, and strategic partners. Guide complex AI and data infrastructure architectures, executive engagements, competitive opportunities, and technical deal execution. Build trusted government relationships and translate full-stack technology capabilities into mission impact and business value.

Drive new customer acquisition for VAST Data’s AI and analytics platform. Build pipeline through strategic prospecting, account-based selling, executive engagement, and partner relationships. Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from discovery and technical evaluation through negotiation, closing, and expansion. Engage data, analytics, AI, engineering, and executive stakeholders while developing account plans, forecasting pipeline, and translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.

Owns technical strategy and field success for VAST deployments on partner hardware, especially EBox. Architects and sizes infrastructure solutions, defines performance expectations, validates deployment readiness, leads complex troubleshooting, and supports strategic customer engagements. Partners with Sales Engineering, Support, Engineering, Product, and OEM teams to develop custom solutions, deployment plans, repeatable architectures, and best practices for enterprise storage and software-defined infrastructure.

Lead VAST Data’s business development strategy and strategic partnerships across the AI inference and accelerator ecosystem. Build relationships with compute, semiconductor, accelerator, cloud, and infrastructure companies; define joint technical and commercial value propositions; develop reference architectures, solutions, account strategies, co-selling motions, and enterprise go-to-market programs. Coordinate VAST’s sales, product, engineering, solutions, and marketing teams with partner organizations while evaluating emerging technologies and creating structure in an evolving market.
