Manages pre-award and post-award research administration for grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements. Responsibilities include proposal budgeting and compliance review, financial account monitoring, reconciliations, transaction and subrecipient invoice approval, cost transfers, effort and compensation requests, financial reporting, closeout support, and training faculty and staff on research administration policies and regulations.

Build WordPress pages, project galleries, course listings, tagging, search, and content-filtering features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Support cloud-based back-end services, CMS platforms, deployments, and version control. Collaborate with stakeholders, apply accessibility standards, learn emerging technologies, and deliver quality projects under tight deadlines.

Supports the management and execution of high-priority research, executive initiatives, meetings, presentations, reports, events, and strategic projects for the External Affairs division. Responsibilities include preparing content and summaries, contributing to university-wide messaging, developing strategic opportunities, evaluating departmental submissions, editing documents, and coordinating with senior leadership and stakeholders. The role requires strong communication, research, analytical, organizational, and judgment skills in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Provides executive administrative support to the Founding Director and Director of Executive Operations, including calendar management, meeting preparation, communications, filing, approvals, and reimbursement coordination. Coordinates cross-institute projects, tracks assignments and deadlines, supports high-visibility events, prepares presentations and documents, manages stakeholder relationships, and contributes to process improvements and special initiatives requiring independent judgment and confidentiality.

Leads the university’s technology transfer contracts function, drafting, negotiating, and managing licensing, research, commercialization, and intellectual property agreements. Evaluates contractual risk, advises on licensing strategy, ensures compliance and reporting, improves contracting systems and workflows, and collaborates with General Counsel, researchers, inventors, commercialization teams, and external partners. Supervises one Contracts Administrator and provides training, mentorship, and operational leadership.
