The Instructional Designer II develops and updates online courses for ERAU Worldwide Campus. Responsibilities include collaborating with faculty, establishing and applying course development and quality standards, creating instructional materials in Canvas, coordinating multimedia production, conducting quality assurance reviews, facilitating approvals, monitoring textbook issues, and managing course timelines and redevelopment cycles. The role may also mentor junior instructional designers and participate in educational research, conferences, and presentations.

Support faculty development and instructional quality for ERAU Worldwide by reviewing courses, observing teaching, designing and delivering professional learning, ensuring adherence to best practices and contractual standards, and participating in special projects to improve course management and student success.

The Instructional Designer I is responsible for producing high-quality online courses, coordinating development activities, and collaborating with various teams to innovate learning solutions.

Provides strategic and operational leadership across the University's Western operations. The role drives organizational effectiveness, change management, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, data-informed decisions, and leadership development. Responsibilities include overseeing managers and teams, allocating resources, supporting recruitment and employee development, addressing complex personnel matters, and aligning regional operations with institutional priorities. The position indirectly leads approximately 40 staff members and may require travel for university activities.

The professor will develop and teach courses in computer and data science, advance a research agenda, and engage in departmental collaboration and meetings.
