The Lateral Recruiting Manager oversees recruiting processes for attorneys and paralegals, manages team performance, communicates with candidates, and shapes recruiting strategies to ensure diversity and efficiency.

Provide litigation support to attorneys including fact investigation, drafting pleadings and discovery, e-discovery and document review, trial preparation and attendance, docketing/case management, client and expert coordination, legal research, and use of litigation support and AI tools. Provide paralegal support for New York mass tort/asbestos litigation: investigate facts, manage discovery and document databases, prepare pleadings, assist with depositions, trials and witness lists, docket and case management, mentor paralegal assistants, and meet a 1500 billable hour requirement.

Monitor shared mailboxes and independently docket pleadings and deadlines using firm docketing software. Research court, agency, and judge rules; verify jurisdictions and docket accuracy; prepare matter reports; respond to attorneys and staff; and support continuous improvement and special projects for the Docket Team.
