Prepare and file state and local tax returns across the United States, organize and cleanse client tax data, manage registrations and business licenses, conduct tax research and analysis, and communicate with clients, tax authorities, and internal professionals. Responsibilities include managing month-end accounting, posting journal entries, correcting account discrepancies, preparing bank reconciliations and internal financial statements, maintaining client documentation, identifying accounting, investment, and tax issues, and supporting multiple client engagements while meeting quality, deadline, and budget expectations.

Conduct federal income tax research and analysis; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and domestic tax due diligence; draft tax memos, emails, and firm-wide alerts; and assist with federal income tax training. The role requires extensive experience advising on partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations, along with a law degree and strong tax research skills.

Leads the Employee Benefits Tax practice, serving as senior technical authority on deferred compensation, executive compensation, equity awards, retirement and welfare benefits. Advises clients on tax compliance, reporting, risk mitigation, compensation structuring, and M&A transactions. Reviews plan documents and filings, manages key client relationships, develops business, mentors professionals, conducts training, and supports recruiting and practice growth.
