Leads the administration, support, reliability, security, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement of Staples’ enterprise IBM i and IBM Power Systems infrastructure. Manages hardware and operating system lifecycles, backups, replication, monitoring, capacity planning, incident response, audits, vendors, budgets, modernization initiatives, and operational procedures. Provides technical and people leadership for senior IBM i platform engineers while partnering with cybersecurity, architecture, application, business, and vendor teams.

Lead Staples’ customer and marketing data science and analytics organization. Set the strategy for marketing measurement, attribution, personalization, experimentation, customer intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics. Build scalable teams and data capabilities, partner with engineering and business leaders, translate complex findings into executive recommendations, and drive improvements in marketing ROI, customer engagement, and business performance.

Owns Staples’ Amazon Returns partnership, leading relationship management, strategic planning, financial oversight, program execution, performance reporting, negotiations, and continuous improvement. The role partners with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Retail Leadership to maximize profitability, customer experience, operational effectiveness, and partnership value. Responsibilities include forecasting, financial reconciliation, business reviews, issue resolution, stakeholder influence, and executive-level recommendations.

Leads dropship and wholesale fulfillment operations, supplier performance, vendor compliance, and operational improvement initiatives. Oversees scorecards, service-level agreements, budgets, dashboards, root-cause analysis, automation, and system enhancements. Partners across merchandising, supply chain, technology, finance, customer service, legal, sales, and inventory management. Manages and develops cross-functional teams while driving scalable, cost-effective service improvements and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

Lead strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions for pricing, forecasting, optimization, and decision intelligence. Manage AI and data engineering teams, own technical roadmaps, implement MLOps/cloud platforms, measure business impact, and partner cross-functionally to drive revenue, margin, and operational improvements.

Lead cybersecurity monitoring, investigation, and incident response. Develop and enforce security controls and policies, perform vulnerability assessments, mentor junior staff, and partner cross-functionally to reduce risk and ensure compliance.

Lead end-to-end commercial activation for a portfolio of private-brand SKUs across B2B, retail, digital, and marketplace channels. Drive cross-functional alignment, resolve activation gaps, analyze SKU-level performance, monitor KPIs, and translate data into actionable insights to optimize launches and in-market assortments. Mentor team members and contribute to reporting and activation improvements.

Lead strategy, roadmap, and scaling of enterprise AI/ML platforms (including GenAI and agent frameworks). Enable cross-functional teams to build, deploy, govern, and operate production-grade AI solutions; define architecture and guardrails; track adoption, reliability, cost, and developer productivity; partner with Security, Privacy, Cloud, and vendor partners; and drive platform delivery through agile execution.

Lead architecture and evolution of enterprise observability platforms (APM, infrastructure monitoring, session replay, log analytics). Define integration patterns, telemetry standards, and governance. Partner with Engineering, SRE, Product, and Infrastructure to embed observability best practices, evaluate new technologies (OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, AI-driven observability), drive platform standardization, and manage vendor relationships to improve MTTD/MTTR and system reliability.

Lead strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads. Manage budget pacing, campaign structure, bidding, A/B tests, reporting, and cross-functional alignment to improve ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rates.
