Build and maintain full-stack features for Vanta’s third-party risk management products, including vendor onboarding, lifecycle management, monitoring workflows, data models, and platform abstractions. Write tested code, participate in reviews and architecture decisions, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing functionality. Lead and grow Vanta’s App Primitives engineering team, overseeing hiring, team health, delivery, and senior engineer development. Own the strategy and roadmap for shared infrastructure including comments, notifications, event logs, feature flags, and task management. Set full-stack technical direction, define interfaces between platform and product teams, manage cross-team dependencies, and partner with engineering, product, and design leaders to deliver scalable infrastructure.

Analyze complex financial and business data to guide planning, forecasting, investment decisions, and strategic growth. Own Vanta’s public-sector partnerships strategy across Federal and SLED markets, including partner segmentation, tiering, enablement, co-selling, agreements, and investment allocation. Lead partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, build a scalable network of resellers, GSIs, MSPs, VARs, auditors, and compliance providers, and grow the partnerships team. Collaborate across sales, channel, product, legal, marketing, and engineering while shaping offerings for FedRAMP and CMMC ecosystems.

Lead the architecture and delivery of scalable compliance-platform capabilities for government vendors, federal agencies, and SLED organizations. Design new workflows, shared infrastructure, and tagging systems while partnering with engineering, product, go-to-market teams, and early design partners. Translate evolving requirements into durable solutions, lead complex cross-functional projects, and help shape engineering culture in a rapidly scaling environment.

Build and own full-stack features, platform primitives, and integrations for Vanta Government Cloud. Design secure APIs and services for authentication, data ingestion, schema evolution, monitoring, and framework mappings. Operate integrations within the GovCloud boundary, including observability, on-call support, incident response, change management, performance improvements, and automated testing. Collaborate with federal subject-matter experts, agencies, vendors, and assessment organizations while using AI responsibly to improve development and operations.

Lead architecture and rollout of scalable platform services and customer-facing APIs. Define API standards, service boundaries, security, reliability, and developer experience; collaborate with data-platform teams; drive RFCs and complex multi-quarter initiatives; mentor engineers; and contribute across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AI tools.
