Leadership shakeup: Who’s new in Boston tech

Boston tech was sizzling this July, with companies in fintech, healthtech, AI and other industries landing major fundings from top-notch investors. And with big dollars come big hires. We’ve rounded up three notable leadership shake-ups from the past month you should be keeping your eye on.

 

Ken Keefer
senior VP of sales • EverTrue

What they do: EverTrue is a software startup that is modernizing fundraising efforts in higher education.

Big hire: Ken Keefer was brought on as EverTrue’s new senior vice president of sales. Keefer brings more than fourteen years of advancement leadership to EverTrue. Prior to this role, Keefer was the president and CRO at QuadWrangle, a provider of alumni engagement solutions.

 

Christine Parker
VP, financial services business • Pegasystems

What they do: Pegasystems is a software company that offers applications to streamline critical business operations, connect enterprises to their customers in real time across channels and adapt to meet rapidly changing requirements.

Big hire: Pegasystems brought on Christine Parker as vice president to lead their financial services business. Parker has more than 20 years in the financial services industry under her belt, and will help lead Pega’s go-to-market strategy in one of the company’s top verticals. Her most recent role was at EY, where she was executive director of financial services customer strategy.

 

John Reilly
CFO • ThirdChannel

What they do: ThirdChannel offers retailers an intelligence platform that shows brick-and-mortar stores all the behavioral and operational data points needed to make critical business decisions.

Big hire: ThirdChannel announced the hire of a new chief financial officer, John Reilly, who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial infrastructure as Thirdchannel expands its retail intelligence platform. Previously, Reilly was global controller at Cryptzone, where he oversaw the company’s financial management and operations. Reilly’s appointment followed a flurry of key hirings that Thirdchannel made after closing a $7 million Series A round in November 2017.
