What a first 6 months it’s been for the Date Seat team! We’ve had a strong presence in the Boston market with a MUCH anticipated expansion to 3 new cities over the next month or so. We also have new partnership announcements and app updates below:
Date Seat App Updates include:
- Expansions to 3 new cities by June 1st, 2017 (it's possible that we may move this to an earlier date!). Cities include Portsmouth NH, Manchester NH, and Newburyport MA.
- We will be launching our Android platform by June 1st, 2017!
- Partnership with OpenTable: we have officially secured our partnership with OpenTable.com which will allow users to book restaurant reservations using our app.
- Partnership with NH1.com: Starting the Summer of 2017, we will be partnering with NH1.com to help launch their brand new restaurant page for New Hampshire! They will be sourcing the Date Seat restaurant data and blog posts for engagement on their new webpage (woo-hoo!)
- Partnership with DateEats.com: we have partnered with DateEats.com, a sarcastic and funny dating/dining guide for Boston, which will serve as a cross-promotional platform for both parties.
- 25 new restaurants added to our Boston market, including breweries around the suburbs. We will also be adding Cambridge, MA and surrounding suburbs throughout the Summer and into 2018.
- For the spring/summer, we will be bringing back our “Outdoor Seating” category which will be replacing the “NFL Sundays” until next season (PS- great job Brady, Bill, and the Pats!). We will also be adding new categories such as “Tinder Dates”, “Rooftop Decks”, and "Hotel Bars"
- News articles/features on our company include: The Huffington Post, Boston Magazine, Boston Food Journal, Built in Boston, BC Heights, and others, all which can be found on our website at www.DateSeatApp.com/press
We are looking forward to continued growth into the Summer 2017 including new partnerships as well as strategically planning our next moves for 2018. This will include new cities (any guesses??) and greater functionality for both of our app platforms. Thank you for your continued support!
