Every week, we comb through our events calendar and pick out five of the coolest tech-related events going on in Boston. This week, look forward to sales networking with one of the hottest tech companies in Boston, an epic workshop on how to grow your business, and much, much more. 

 

Launch Your Sales Career at Toast, Apr. 30 at 6 p.m.

If you're a salesperson who likes restaurant tech and fast-paced sales teams, Toast might be a great place to launch or grow your career. The massive tech company is hosting an event in which you can hear from senior leadership as well as current sales reps about their product, company culture and what it's like to work on their sales team. Oh, and there will be food and raffle prizes! 

 

X AI Reverse Startup Pitch, May 1 at 6:15 p.m.

Budding entrepreneurs: Head over to the Open Data Science Conference to learn more about what type of AI and data science startups the hottest funds and venture capitalists are looking to invest in. VCs from tech VC firms like Battery Ventures, .406 Ventures and Highland Capital Partners will be in attendance. After hearing from the VCs, you can introduce yourself and your startup and find out whether your company is a good fit. 

 

Managing Your Personal Brand and Career with Dorie Clark, May 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Lesbians Who Tech are hosting a discussion with Dorie Clark and Beth Linker about how techies can "leverage their unique experiences" to build their personal brand and grow their careers. Clark is an adjunct professor at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the author of "Entrepreneurial You, Reinventing You and Stand Out", while Linker is the senior director of product management for Acquia Cloud and Site Factory.

 

Accelerate: Premier Event for Tech and Business Leaders, May 3 at 9 a.m.

If you want to bump elbows with some of the biggest leaders in tech, the "ACCELERATE" event is a great place to start. The two-day event will include real-life success stories about transforming business organizations, as well as interactive workshops on how to improve and scale your business. There will also be some pretty cool speakers, including Olympic medalist Carmelita Jeter, "the fastest woman in the world," and Katherine Kostereva, CEO of bpm’online.
