The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions, financial reporting, and improve financial processes in a remote, part time role.

Support day-to-day accounts receivable, collections, billing, tax compliance, reconciliations, and customer billing support across Audiense entities. Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and external advisors; prepare AR reports, bad debt schedules, sales tax/VAT support, month-end close tasks, and audit responses. Maintain AR systems and recommend process improvements.

Lead accounting and reporting activities including evaluating new accounting standards, preparing journal entries and financial analyses, designing controls and mitigating risk, coordinating internal/external reporting and audits, and driving accounting projects like system implementations and process improvements.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close for assigned areas. Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis. Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and billing portals. Execute order-to-cash tasks including contract review, Salesforce to NetSuite sync, and sales order setup. Partner cross-functionally and assist with audit preparation.

Provide bookkeeping and accounting support to senior accountants for faith-based nonprofit clients. Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable, payroll processing, and assist in preparing financial reports while ensuring compliance and excellent client service. Manage multiple clients and deadlines, learn new tasks, and work additional hours as needed.

Generates accurate customer invoices, resolves billing disputes, maintains accounting records, posts general ledger entries, reconciles accounts, supports monthly close and financial reporting, documents controls, and assists with audits, tax support, acquisitions, and financial analysis. The role also collaborates across departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
