The Senior Mechatronics Engineer will develop the mechatronic systems for manufacturing prosthetics, focusing on system architecture, rapid prototyping, and integration with various engineering teams.

Responsible for mechanical designs from concept to verification, collaborating on test solutions and providing comprehensive documentation.

Design, integrate, commission, and troubleshoot robotic pick cells and industrial automation subsystems. Define layouts, interfaces, safety, and manufacturing handoff. Support PLC development (Siemens preferred), industrial networking, field installations, acceptance testing, documentation, and cross-disciplinary debugging to improve throughput, reliability, and serviceability. Travel domestically and internationally for commissioning and support.

Design and optimize electromechanical systems, specify/test/tune BLDC motors, harmonic drives, and gearboxes; develop motor control firmware (FOC) in C/C++ for microcontrollers; collaborate with mechanical engineers on joint design and thermal management; integrate industrial communications (EtherCAT, CAN bus).

As a Mechatronics Engineer II, you'll design and develop electromechanical systems, write control software, develop HMI interfaces, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
