Job Description SummaryAs a Virtual Education Leader you will be accountable for implementation of the virtual education strategy in MR. In this role you will be a great communicator, skilled at creating alignment, and comfortable with learning, and teaching others, how to use new technology. You will combine these soft skills with your clinical expertise and find purpose in applying both to enable others to educate and engage customers through virtual education. Your day-to-day responsibilities include content development, coaching, and providing ongoing support of virtual education programs. The key stakeholders will include the Directors of Clinical Applications and Clinical Education Manager for the MR modality.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Enable CAS (Clinical Applications Specialist) adoption of a virtual training approach through training, coaching, and demonstration.
  • Collaborate with modality partners and stakeholders, and peers to create a virtual education approach, including tools, content, and programs that align to the business needs, customer needs, and current capabilities.
  • In partnership with the CEM (Clinical Education Manager), identify and prioritize operational needs including content creation for NPIs and CAS coaching and development.
  • Create and deploy educational content using applications including Articulate Rise and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain clear documentation and content repositories.
  • Support and improve existing virtual education initiatives and programs.
  • Proactively seek feedback from internal and external customers and apply a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Creatively activate the virtual appetite within the respective modality/segment and showcase solutions to internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain a working product knowledge and routinely go-to-gemba, both onsite and virtually, to develop a deep understanding of the customer needs and ways to improve.
  • When necessary, deliver virtual customer training.
  • Partner with the global product and engineering teams to integrate virtual clinical expertise and customer insights into future product development. 
  • Collaborate across functions to support conference/symposium/webinars representing GE.
  • Demonstrate a quality mindset, maintaining and implementing processes as part of the Quality Management System.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 yrs experience as healthcare professional.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical applications organization.
  • Proven expertise utilizing remote training/educational tools, and virtual aptitude.
  • Working knowledge and healthy curiosity of current healthcare market trends.
  • Excellent communication and moderating skills with demonstrated ability to engage with employee and customers at all levels. 
  • Ability to develop and execute priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to accelerate change and process improvements.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,000.00-$162,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
