These Boston tech companies raised millions last week and are set on further expansion. Keep reading to find out more. This is the Built In Boston weekly refresh.  

ZAGENO raised $60M. The e-commerce marketplace for life sciences will use the funding to continue developing its platform and will grow its team. ZAGENO allows its users to search and purchase life science-focused products ranging from chemicals and equipment to gene sequencing kits. [Built In Boston]

40 Boston companies made the Deloitte 2021 Technology Fast 500 list. The list ranks the fastest-growing companies in North America based on their revenue growth over a three-year period. This year’s ranking looks at revenue from 2017 to 2020. Boston faired well this year with 40 tech companies making the cut, including Insurify, Klaviyo, Embark Veterinary and Drift, to name a few. [Built In Boston]

Mabl gained $40M. The Series C funding round was led by Vista Equity Partners’ Endeavor Fund. Mabl is a fast-growing SaaS company that offers an intelligent test automation platform used by businesses in various industries. Dynatrace announced a CEO transition. The company’s current CEO and director John Van Siclen will retire on December 13. Dynatrace’s new CEO will be Rick McConnell, who is currently the president and GM of the Security Technology Group at Akamai Technologies. Dynatrance’s platform offers software intelligence to accelerate digital transformation and simply the cloud. [Dynatrace] 

Immersive Labs acquired Snap Labs. The U.K. based cybersecurity company acquired Snap Labs for an unknown amount but is said to be a mix of stock and cash. Immersive Labs works to train corporate employees with cybersecurity skills in “gamified” ways. Snap Labs is another cybersecurity startup that works to reduce the carbon footprint by using “elastic computing.” [TechCrunch]

Jobcase gets a new general counsel. Jobcase appointed legal veteran Kathleen Patton as its new general counsel. She will be responsible for leading legal and regulatory organizations within the company. Jobcase is a social platform that promotes and advocates for workers. [PR Newswire]
