Job Title: VP Finance
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: London HQ
Type: Full-time, minimum 3 days in office
About The Role
Initially overseeing the Finance departments, the VP Finance is a senior leadership role. This role is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity, strategic financial planning, and compliance of the company.
Working with Executive Management and the Board, you will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring the company meets all regulatory and reporting obligations as a listed entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements; ensure IFRS compliance; manage external audit.
- Oversee management reporting: deliver accurate and timely management accounts, cash flow forecasts, budget vs actuals, and variance analysis.
- Scenario modelling, capital budgeting, investment appraisal.
- Manage working capital, cash flow, and the capital structure (including any debt or equity financing).
- Partner with senior management (CEO, COO, General Manager Distribution, and Board) on growth strategy, commercial decisions, and investment opportunities.
- Assist with investor relations: prepare reports/presentations for shareholders, analysts; ensure compliance with disclosure/listing rules.
- Ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls; automate where possible to scale.
- Work with the Head of Finance to lead and develop the wider finance team; manage external parties (auditors, bankers, external advisors, etc.)
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- At least 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Substantial experience in a listed company environment, with IFRS / regulatory reporting.
- Strong financial modelling, analysis, and business case development skills.
- Excellent communication skills: able to present complex financial information to non-finance executives, the Board, and investors.
- Strong strategic mindset with attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-changing environment; hands-on attitude.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in technology or gaming sectors.
- Group & International operations exposure.
- Experience with IPO / listing transitions.
- Experience in improving or implementing ERP or financial systems.
