Job DescriptionThe Sr. Manager of Strategy is responsible for shaping and advancing the Premium Consumer Audio BU’s most critical strategic priorities. This role bridges project delivery and executive decision-making — overseeing a portfolio of initiatives, synthesizing insights across workstreams, and ensuring that strategy efforts are tightly connected to the BU’s financial model, growth goals, and competitive positioning.
As a thought partner to the Premium Consumer Audio senior leadership, the Sr. Manager provides market foresight, consumer insights, and operational perspectives that inform long-term business choices. They also play a key role in translating strategy into execution, working across Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and Go-to-Market to ensure recommendations can be implemented with discipline and impact.
This role is designed for an experienced strategist who can combine analytical rigor with strategic vision, influence senior leaders, and help steer the BU toward sustainable growth and transformation.
THE TEAM
The Strategy team for the Premium Consumer Audio business unit is responsible for driving commercial and operational value through high-priority cross-functional initiatives that unlock new growth, deliver efficiencies, or build competitive advantage. We investigate emerging consumer needs, market dynamics, and operational models to identify opportunities and challenges. We are a multi-disciplinary team that balances creativity with analytical rigor, leading initiatives from market discovery to validation and scale. RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Oversight
- Partner with the VP of Strategy to define and manage the BU’s overall strategic agenda with a focus on Go To Market.
- Lead prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing of initiatives to ensure focus on the highest-impact opportunities.
- Anticipate future market, consumer, and competitive shifts to shape BU-level choices.
Insight Integration & Communication
- Synthesize insights across multiple projects into cohesive recommendations for senior leadership.
- Develop compelling strategy narratives and materials for executive-level discussions and Board alignment.
- Provide clear, structured thinking to guide decision-making in ambiguous situations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with leaders across Product, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Go-to-Market to ensure initiatives are executable and aligned with operational realities.
- Facilitate alignment and decision-making across diverse perspectives.
Team Development & Thought Partnership
- Provide coaching and guidance to strategy team members to strengthen the overall capability of the strategy team.
- Contribute frameworks, approaches, and ways of working that raise the strategic problem-solving bar for the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hard Skills
- 6+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or business operations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Strong research and analytical skills; ability to integrate consumer, market, and operational data into strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery of executive-level presentations.
