Senior Financial Systems Analyst - Automation 

Position Summary: The Senior Financial Systems Analyst - Automation serves as a key liaison between IT and the finance business users, with a primary focus on utilizing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools and other automation avenues like winshuttle to enhance financial processes. This role will lead the identification of automation solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve overall operational efficiency within finance systems. This role will also ensure first level production support for all finance Robotic Process Automation (RPA) integrations. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Primary RPA Production Support Lead: Act as the primary lead for all RPA-related production issues and process improvements, ensuring RPA tools, scripts, and workflows integrated with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Concur) are functioning optimally. 

  • RPA and Automation Process Improvements: Collaborate with business users to identify financial processes that can be automated or optimized through RPA or other automation tools, driving efficiency, and cost savings within the finance organization. 

  • Citizens Development Champion- Be the champion of citizens development within finance organization. Build automation request that does not require IT RPA developers. Own the training and mentoring of new citizen developers within finance.  

  • Intake and Issue Management: Manage the intake process for production issues related to finance RPA-driven processes. Collaborate with IT and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. 

  • Stakeholder Communication & Training: Develop and implement effective communication to keep stakeholders informed of automation changes. Provide user training and documentation to support changes in business processes. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. 

  • Previous Experience as a Financial Systems Analyst, with a strong focus on process support and improvement. Strong techno functional mindset to be able to take problem troubleshoot and make recommendations. 

  • Financial Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Concur), and how RPA can be integrated to automate processes within these systems. Experience with retail preferred.  

  • Experience with Citizens Development and automation tools: Strong background in being a citizen’s developer in business and or worked with other automation tools 

  • Ability to Handle High-Volume Work: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing both urgent production issues and longer-term RPA initiatives.  

  • Problem-Solving & Self-Learning: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly. 

    This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

    In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $76,000.00.
