As the Finance Business Partner - US Strategic Accounts, you will support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making for SharkNinja's key US retail accounts. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, this role focuses on financial management, profitability analysis, and fostering strong partnerships with commercial leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and ensuring alignment with SharkNinja's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Support the financial planning and reporting process for US Strategic Accounts, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of actuals.
  • Conduct financial analysis to track key performance metrics such as sales, gross margin, and promotional spend efficiency.
  • Develop and refine financial models to support strategic decision-making and account planning for Target, Best Buy, Kohl's, and other strategic accounts.
  • Partner with account teams to analyze pricing, promotions, and ROI to optimize financial outcomes.


Business Partnering:

  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to account leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and customer-specific goals.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to improve financial literacy and drive accountability for budget and performance management.


Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports and dashboards to monitor account performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Assist in managing and reporting on promotional and commercial spend, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and account-specific constraints.
  • Prepare variance analyses and contribute to the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.


Process Improvement & Efficiency:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of financial operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for financial planning, reporting, and analysis.


Ad Hoc Support & Special Projects:

  • Support strategic projects, including new product launches, promotional strategies, and pricing initiatives, by providing robust financial analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership, summarizing account performance and strategic insights.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering roles, preferably within consumer goods, e-commerce, or retail industries.
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with US retail dynamics, particularly with Target, Best Buy, and Kohl's, is a strong plus.
