Chewy is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Partnerships team at our hub in Boston, MA, with a specific focus on enterprise cloud expenses! This role will partner closely with the Cloud Business Office, Technology leadership, and other Finance partners to help manage, forecast, and optimize Chewy's cloud spend.
This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys deep analytical work, building models, and translating complex cost drivers into clear insights for business and finance leaders. The base salary range for this role is $95,500 - $152,500.

What You'll Do
- Partner with the Cloud Business Office, Technology teams, and Finance partners to support management of enterprise cloud expenses.
- Build, enhance, and maintain AWS and cloud cost forecasting models, incorporating usage trends, business drivers, and optimization initiatives.
- Analyze and explain key drivers of cloud spend, including usage patterns, architectural decisions, and growth drivers across the enterprise.
- Identify, measure, and track cloud cost optimization opportunities, helping to enforce governance and assess realized savings.
- Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate how changes in architecture, usage, or optimization actions impact cloud spend.
- Develop custom dashboards and reporting within Chewy's Cloud Cost Management platform to improve visibility and decision-making.
- Own preparation of recurring cloud cost reporting, clearly communicating risks, opportunities, and performance versus forecast.
- Support month-end close and forecasting processes related to cloud expenses, including variance explanations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Technology partners to improve data quality, processes, and cost transparency.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Tech Finance, Cloud Finance, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills, including experience working with large, detailed datasets.
- Experience supporting forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Ability to distill complex cost drivers into clear, concise insights for business and executive audiences.
- Comfort influencing partners through data and analysis in ambiguous environments.
Bonus
- Experience managing or analyzing cloud spend and/or a strong understanding of AWS services and pricing models is a significant plus.
- Experience building dashboards or working within cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, Apptio, or similar platforms) is preferred.
The base salary range for this role is $95,500 - $152,500.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
