Senior Technical Consultant

Technical Consultant - Cloud File Storage Solutions - Boston or Marlborough MA (Hybrid) or Remote US 

The Technical Consultant, is a trusted advisor to select Nasuni customers providing technical guidance around operations and optimization of the Nasuni Cloud File Storage solution to their business. Guide customers through engagements of professional services to assist in the deployment and Lifecyle of the product.
The TC works with Customer Support/Service and Sales. Manages customers to resolve, oversee and follow up to ensure a positive business relationship. The TC must understand their customers IT organization, impact on the business goals etc. The TC is a resourceful leader, confident under pressure, has a demonstrated technical knowledge of the product, customer relationship management and business development. 

Detailed Responsibilities include:

Understand and communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level (storage / data migration / backup / recovery / security solutions)
Provide Cloud Storage industry expertise and guidance to clients

Technical support coordination for customers to support pre-sales and post sales process 

Technical support for Nasuni account management to address product related issues, customer training feedback and guidance. 

Address all product related issues 

Report on product performance and solutions 

Analyze customers needs and makes recommendations 

Collaborate with sales, professional services, and customer support teams. 

Establish strong working relationships, act as a consultant, work through escalation channels and share best practices 

Required skills and experience for this role include: 

• Minimum ten years of relevant experience in a combination of technical sales for enterprise storage solutions, experience with data center operations, and experience with cloud service providers
• Proven track record in giving customer presentations to all audience levels from architect to executive in both technical and business settings
• Technical expertise in NAS, Active Directory, Linux, Hypervisors, and Virtualization. 
• Knowledge of Cloud Storage Ecosystem including Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Data Security.  
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently
• Strong and creative problem-solving and analytic skills
• Highly motivated, persuasive, and success driven personality with high attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g. Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering)
