Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain, from clinical development to clinical care. For Life Sciences partners, we offer the leading at-home EEG platform for clinical development of novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders. Our Diagnostics business is building the most comprehensive at-home platform for precision diagnostics, combining EEG and cardiopulmonary signals to deliver reimbursable assessments for sleep and central nervous system disorders. Together, we're changing the way patients are diagnosed and treated for any disorder that affects brain physiology.

The Senior Systems Integration Manager sits in Beacon's Commercial organization and reports to the National Clinical Implementation Director. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, based remotely in the United States.

A Systems Integration Manager combines deep technical expertise with sales acumen to identify customer needs and recommend the right products or solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineering and sales teams to develop proposals, deliver product demonstrations, and guide customers through the technical aspects of the sales process. You'll analyze requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful product integration or implementation from initial inquiry through post-sale support.

As the link between customers and engineering teams, you'll play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships. This role also serves as a resource to the broader sales team, helping bridge IT-related issues and support technical discovery throughout the sales cycle.

Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, but we also have in-person office hubs available located in Boston and New York.

What success looks like:

Customer and Commercial Partnership

  • You serve as the technical subject matter expert across the full customer lifecycle, from technical discovery through implementation and expansion.
  • You partner with Sales on strategic opportunities, technical evaluations, and enterprise stakeholder conversations, and are trusted in the room with clinicians, IT leaders, and C-suite executives.
  • You lead technical discovery sessions that surface clinical, operational, workflow, integration, and security requirements before they become obstacles.
  • You deliver customer presentations, workflow demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and executive business reviews that move deals forward.
  • You partner with Customer Support and Technical Services to accelerate customer time-to-value and adoption.

Solution Design & Workflow Optimization

  • You translate customer goals, operational requirements, and technical constraints into scalable solution recommendations rather than one-off custom work.
  • You design and document repeatable implementation, adoption, and expansion workflows.
  • You identify process gaps and workflow friction that would otherwise erode adoption, retention, or expansion — and you fix them.
  • You build the tools, playbooks, and technical assets that make repeatable commercial execution possible.
  • You work with Security teams and AI committees to provide the documentation needed to win approval into health systems.
  • You manage relationships with third-party solutions engineers, API providers, and integration partners (e.g., Redox), and stand up integrations that customers can actually use.

Voice of Customer & Product Partnership

  • You identify recurring customer trends, product gaps, and workflow opportunities across accounts.
  • You synthesize customer feedback into clear, actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering.
  • You help prioritize the commercial enablement work that most supports market growth and customer outcomes.

Commercial Systems & Enablement

  • You partner with commercial leadership to optimize systems, tools, and workflows across the customer journey.
  • You support administration, optimization, and adoption of commercial technologies — CRM, analytics, demo environments, and enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • You build dashboards and reporting that give leadership real visibility into customer health, adoption, and commercial performance.
  • You enable internal teams through training, documentation, and process standardization.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • You act as a connector across Commercial, Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations.
  • You drive alignment on customer priorities, technical readiness, and commercialization strategy.
  • You influence how Beacon scales its customer experience without sacrificing technical or clinical rigor.

What you will bring:

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in implementation, solutions engineering, or sales engineering roles in health tech, medtech, or SaaS. Please note this role sits in the Commercial org, not Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
  • Direct experience working with enterprise customers in a technical, operational, or consultative capacity.
  • A track record of supporting enterprise-level technical sales and implementations end-to-end.
  • Strong background in software integrations, APIs, and data interoperability (HL7/FHIR preferred).
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and interoperability standards (EHR/EMR, PACS, LIS) and hospital data environments.
  • Working understanding of U.S. healthcare systems, reimbursement models, and regulatory environments (HIPAA, FDA, CMS), and comfort operating in a regulated industry where compliance is non-negotiable.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with product, engineering, customer-facing, and commercial teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), analytics and reporting tools, demo environments, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred

  • Experience in digital health, healthcare SaaS, medical devices, diagnostics, or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) — particularly sleep medicine, neurology, or physiologic monitoring.
  • Experience owning implementations, integrations, or workflow design.
  • Experience working with regulated products or FDA submissions.
  • Exposure to cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) or machine learning workflows.

The salary range for this role is $135,000 – $155,000. Salary ranges are determined using current market compensation data for this role and adjusted based on experience, skills, and location. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits.

At Beacon, we've found that cultural and scientific impact is driven most by those that lead by example. As such, we're always seeking new contributors whose work demonstrates an avid curiosity, a bias towards simplicity, an eye for composability, a self-service mindset, and - most of all - a deep empathy towards colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
