Design and scale backend data infrastructure for Beacon’s Datastore platform. Build PostgreSQL data models, Kafka-based event pipelines, GraphQL APIs, and warehouse snapshot pipelines. Lead technical designs, integrations, and service development while ensuring data integrity, idempotency, and resilience. Collaborate with scientific, clinical, product, platform, and application teams to support clinical-study workflows. Improve operational robustness through documentation, tooling, dashboards, and maintainable services in a remote environment.

Manages clinical study operations from startup through closeout, including site onboarding, training, communication, progress monitoring, issue resolution, and quality oversight. Partners with sponsors, project teams, and clinical sites to ensure timeline, protocol, GCP, ICH, and regulatory compliance. Coaches peers on documentation, version control, and complaint management while gathering site feedback to improve devices and workflows. This is a fully remote U.S. contract-to-hire role requiring up to 10% travel.

Provides technical leadership throughout the enterprise customer lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, implementation, integration, adoption, and expansion. Partners with Sales, Product, Engineering, Clinical, Support, and Operations; manages integration partners; translates customer requirements into scalable workflows; supports healthcare security and compliance approvals; develops dashboards, playbooks, documentation, and training; and communicates customer insights to product teams.

Own the full commercial contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, redlining, execution, renewals, and repository management. Negotiate pharma, biopharma, clinical trial, SaaS, licensing, device supply, vendor, and data agreements. Advise on data ownership, licensing, secondary use, HIPAA, and GDPR issues; support FDA-cleared device commercialization; maintain templates and playbooks; and provide clear guidance to internal stakeholders while reporting to the General Counsel.

Own product requirements, user needs, roadmaps, and system-level definition for medical device product lines. Lead cross-functional development from concept through commercialization, coordinating engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and external partners. Drive technical tradeoffs, usability studies, design controls, risk management, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer, Agile practices, stakeholder alignment, and product launches for regulated medical devices.

Develop, validate, deploy, maintain, and document machine learning and deep learning algorithms for biosignal-based medical devices. Responsibilities include data curation, algorithm experimentation, failure analysis, testing, CI/CD, production support, stakeholder presentations, client engagement, and quality and regulatory documentation. The role focuses on EEG and cardiopulmonary signals supporting neurological, psychiatric, sleep, and precision medicine applications.

Lead operational execution for Diagnostics marketing: manage CRM and data, run digital campaigns and web content (Framer), coordinate events and scientific submissions, develop sales enablement, manage editorial calendar and LinkedIn, and build systems and workflows to support marketing and sales.

Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning and deep learning algorithms for EEG, cardiopulmonary, and other biosignal data used in medical devices and precision medicine. Lead the full algorithm lifecycle, including requirements, data curation, experimentation, validation, production deployment, documentation, testing, and maintenance. Improve internal ML tooling, apply DSP and statistical methods, present technical results, and support client-facing projects in regulated healthcare contexts.

Build and maintain React Native mobile apps and native iOS/Android BLE device SDKs for at-home EEG and wearable devices. Design UX workflows for clinical trial participants and diagnostic patients, improve BLE pairing/reliability, own app performance and observability, collaborate with Devices and Platform teams, and shape the mobile platform roadmap.

Design, develop, and execute hardware and firmware test plans for at-home EEG and sleep diagnostic devices. Create test protocols, fixtures, and automation; perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing; troubleshoot hardware/firmware issues; perform root cause analysis; and document results to meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Build and manage relationships with PIs, academic medical centers, core facilities, and consortia to drive adoption of Beacon's at-home EEG platform in grant-funded neuroscience, psychiatry, and sleep research; support proposal development, negotiate and close partnerships, represent Beacon at conferences, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver academic studies and scale multi-site adoption.

Lead design, build, and scale of Beacon's Trial Site Network: set strategy and product vision, coordinate cross-functional teams, recruit and qualify sites, define commercial terms, manage institutional relationships, and measure network performance to support clinical trials and diagnostics.

Lead and grow a 6–10 person Analytics Systems team building Beacon's analytics platform: feature stores, pipelines, BI products, and integrations (including foundation models) to support clinical development and diagnostics. Own roadmap, product direction, engineering quality, project delivery, and cross-team stakeholder alignment in regulated life-sciences environments.
