Rapid7 Sales Operations practice is seeking a Senior Field Sales Operations Partner to support the SVP of Commercial Sales with strategic alignment, forecasting, fiscal year planning and insights that support our sellers in their day-to-day efforts and attainment.
About the Team
The Sales Operations Team at Rapid7 is about supporting and enabling frontline sales teams to sell more efficiently by providing partnership to our sales leaders and teams through the customer lifecycle.
About the Role
This role will support and partner with the SVP of Commercial Sales helping to drive decision making, determining successful sales strategies, leading planning/ administration and managing changes to our process and systems to ensure adoption throughout the entire sales organization. This role will have a key responsibility in proactively identifying and analyzing trends in the business and translating findings into supporting recommendations on ways to improve the productivity and scale of the Go To Market Organization. Each of these responsibilities is critical to Rapid7's success and involves working closely with key stakeholders within Rapid7 while leading projects.

This role requires a mixture of business acumen, quantitative reasoning, experience working in or with sales, executive presence, and the ability to build strong partnerships with business partners across Rapid7. Success in the role will require a self-starter with strong initiative and a passion for collaborating with others to drive impact.
Collaborate with the Commercial SVP and their sales organization on planning, forecasting, reporting, and special projects.
Drive continuous improvement of business processes, leveraging SFDC, Clari, Tableau and other platforms to drive growth and scale.
Understand reporting needs from Sales, and partner with IT, BI and Data teams to drive direction and reporting requirements (bookings, product attach rates, productivity, territory performance etc.)
Ability to work within Google Sheets / Excel to manage ad-hoc analysis and day-to-day needs as required to aid management decision making.
Assist with key sales planning activities during planning and budgeting cycle
Manage weekly / monthly / quarterly cadences that include sales staff meetings, forecast calls, QBRs and ongoing support for the sales team.
The skills you will bring include:
5+ years of direct experience in Sales Operations, preferably at a high-tech or software company. Sales experience a plus
3+ years of Salesforce.com experience, or other Enterprise CRM tools
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
Combine analytical and problem solving skills with strong business judgment to tell a story around Sales performance with actionable insights
In-depth understanding of sales processes and systems, i.e. sales cycles, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management
Ability to self-manage in a high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment
Successful track record of working with all levels of management and sales teams
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written and communication skills required
BA/BS degree in business or related field
