Job Summary

The remote Director, Consulting Services is a results-oriented leader that provides overall management and leadership in the day-to-day management of services teams and solutions experts.   The Director, Consulting Services must be well-versed in operational performance improvement and professional consulting services, as well as delivery of technology solutions in healthcare.  He/She will maintain and reinforce a goal-oriented environment that stresses customer success, departmental and employee accountability, goal achievement, and teamwork. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead organizational and operations performance excellence for high-growth professional services delivery.
  • Ensure client engagements are delivered in a manner which meets/exceeds customer expectations.
  • Develop operational performance metrics and systems of accountability, ensuring attainment of corporate Key Performance Indicators.
  • Accountable for resource utilization and margin targets.
  • Create and maintain internal processes in order to measure and manage service delivery to ensure consistent success in all projects
  • Manage the highly skilled and geographically distributed professional services team including hiring, performance management and reviews, professional development, and coaching.
  • Travel to customer and company sites as required.

 

IDEAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • A leader with 8+ years leading professional services organizations within technology solutions companies.
  • Deep experience working within, and providing services to, the Provider market.
  • Demonstrated achievement in change management/performance improvement in highly complex, fast paced environments.
  • Business process design
  • 3+ years of project management experience with a demonstrated record of success in scaling services which enhance healthcare technology solutions.
  • Can easily navigate conversations with client executive leadership teams between the business and technical areas of a software implementation project, providing leadership in both.
  • Strong operational, analytical, problem solving and written & oral communication skills.
  • Strong record of scaling services-based solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred.
