Own the content product roadmap and third-party provider partnerships for an AI-powered research platform. Manage content collections, licensing, rights, access, quality, and delivery while coordinating with Content Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Compliance. Lead a small team, prioritize customer and market needs, negotiate or manage licenses, and ensure premium content is accurately prepared for AI applications.

Own the content that makes SinglePoint valuable, build the provider partnerships behind it, and decide how premium content gets ready for the AI-powered research our customers depend on.
Why This Role

  • Own what customers value most. Content is central to why the world's largest pharmaceutical and enterprise research teams rely on SinglePoint. You'll own it as a product, with real influence over the roadmap.
  • Shape content for the AI era. How licensed content can be used in AI products is being worked out across the industry right now. Here, you'll define how rights and AI usage terms turn into what our product can do.
  • Lead a team. You'll manage and grow a small team of one to two direct reports.
  • Leadership visibility. You'll report directly to our Chief Product Officer and Chief Information Security Officer.
  • Pay posted up front. $120,000 – $160,000, plus benefits and regular team offsites. No travel required.
  • Hybrid in Somerville. Two days a week in our Somerville office with the team, the rest remote.

The Opportunity

Our content, both our own collections and the third-party sources our customers license, is central to what makes SinglePoint valuable to the world's largest pharmaceutical and enterprise research teams. When the right content isn't there, it costs them a decision.

Northern Light is seeking a Product Manager for Content Products & Partnerships to own that content as a product and own the relationships with the providers behind it. You will define and grow our collections, from business news and corporate financial reports to new regulatory and clinical trials content.

You'll also lead how the content our customers license makes its way into their portals, working with each provider to secure the rights, full text, and access those customers need. Working alongside Content Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales, you'll make sure the right content reaches our customers accurately, on time, and ready for AI.

What We're Looking For

  • Product experience in content and data. 5+ years in product management, content licensing, or partnerships at a content, data, or information services company. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Licensing and rights know-how. Experience negotiating or managing content licenses and data rights, and familiarity with how content rights apply to AI-enabled products.
  • Technical fluency. You understand how content is sourced, configured, processed, and delivered well enough to guide operations work, write clear tickets, and answer customer and provider questions.
  • Customer and market insight. You turn customer and market needs into collection priorities and scope.
  • Systems thinking. Strong analytical reasoning and the ability to manage complex dependencies involving third-party content and data providers.
  • Clear, precise communication. You work comfortably with technical and business stakeholders, inside and outside the company.
  • Judgment about trade-offs. You balance product strategy, data quality, and licensing constraints in a content-driven platform.

Who We Hire: Owners Who Follow Through

You can take a content need that isn't fully defined, find the missing context yourself, and drive it until the provider is signed, the rights are clear, and the content is live in the customer's portal. Not “the contract is out for signature.” Done.

You lead decisions across Customer Success, Sales, Platform, and Compliance with clear recommendations, and you follow them through to resolution. You deliver committed outcomes on schedule and raise risks before deadlines pass.

Our Values, and What They Look Like in This Role

Our five core values aren't wall art. They shape how we work together, and they're part of how every person here is reviewed.

  • Act honestly in every business dealing and see commitments through. Here, that means straight talk with providers and customers, and "done" means the content is live, not the contract out for signature.
  • Keep looking for new ideas and approaches that wow our customers and ourselves. Here, that means new collections, new providers, and new ways to make premium content ready for AI.
  • Bring enthusiasm that energizes others, and collaborate across teams toward shared goals. You'll rally Content Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales around the same priorities.
  • Raise the bar on product and customer experience. You hold content to clear standards for quality, freshness, and service levels, and your team to the same.
  • Communicate openly about decisions, challenges, and direction, and own your mistakes. You make clear recommendations, keep rights documented, and raise risks before deadlines pass.

Leading the Team

This role manages a small team, currently one to two direct reports, who support collection management and content provider relationships. You'll hire, onboard, set goals, hold regular one-on-ones, conduct performance reviews, and develop your team.

You'll assign and prioritize the team's work, hold it to content service levels and quality standards, and make sure processes are documented so critical work never depends on a single person.

Helps, But Not Required

  • Life sciences, competitive intelligence, or enterprise research experience
  • Regulatory or clinical trials content
  • Third-party publisher agreements and licensing workflows
  • Provider compliance questionnaires and reporting obligations
  • Salesforce
