Why this role?
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist who lives at the intersection of service delivery and process optimization. In this role, you will spend half your time supporting our 1,000+ global employees with high-touch operational support, and the other half "building the future" by automating those very processes.
The ideal candidate is someone who is customer-first and happy to get into the details but who questions manual, repetitive tasks and has the technical curiosity to build an AI-driven or automated solution to fix them.
What You'll do:1. Global People Operations Support (50%) — "The Business as Usual"
Lifecycle Management: Act as a primary point of contact for global employee inquiries, managing the employee lifecycle from seamless onboarding to thoughtful offboarding.
Global Compliance & Data: Maintain our HRIS (Workday) with clinical accuracy, ensuring global data integrity and compliance with regional labor laws.
People Advisory: Support Talent Business Partners (TBPs) and managers with standard operational needs, including data changes and internal transfers.
Documentation: Owns relevant internal documentation, ensuring all policies and procedures are up-to-date and easily accessible for a global workforce.
2. Optimization, Automation & Projects (50%) — "The Future of Ops"
AI Chatbot Product Ownership: Ongoing ownership of our HR Chatbot. You will use your "BAU" experience to identify the most common employee questions and build the logic/knowledge base to automate those answers.
Process Automation: Audit current manual workflows (e.g., contract generation or document retention) and implement automated triggers and workflows to reduce administrative burden.
Project Management: Lead various, cross-functional People projects to increase the full People Team’s efficiency and service.
The "Feedback Loop": Use data from employees, managers, and TBPs to identify operational bottlenecks and pitch/execute projects that solve them.
Experience: 2+ years in a People Ops or HR Generalist role, with a proven track record of moving from "doing the work" to "improving the work."
Global Mindset: Experience supporting employees across multiple time zones and understanding the nuances of global HR operations.
Systems Fluency: You are a "power user" of HR tech, able to propose enhancements to key business processes that rely on technology.
The Automation Itch: You have experience (or a high aptitude) for tools and automation builders to streamline workflows.
Tech Background: Experience in a fast-paced company environment.
Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies to manage your 50/50 split effectively.
Annual Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000.
