Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.
Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.
It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.

Why this role?

Snyk is defining the future of AI security with Evo, the industry's first agentic orchestrator for securing AI-native applications. Our Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) lead the charge at the "0 to 1" frontier to drive customer adoption and shape the Evo product.

We are seeking a Staff FDE to work with our most strategic accounts in a highly visible, autonomous role at the critical intersection of customer and product engineering. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and strategic influence to adapt Evo to our customers' unique systems, workflows, and business needs to drive customer value.

What You’ll Do:

  • Customer-Facing Technical Leadership: Serve as the most senior technical resource dedicated to Evo adoption with Snyk's largest and most strategic customers, leading the charge through full-scale production deployment.

  • Strategic Delivery: Navigate technical and business complexity to deliver solutions, with an eye towards building reusable reference architectures, tools, frameworks, and playbooks. You will develop and standardize the 'Evo Deployment Framework' to reduce time-to-value for future customers.

  • Deep Technical Implementation: Go deep by writing production-level code to bridge Evo functionality with customer-specific tooling and workflows.

  • Driving Product Evolution: Act as a critical product feedback loop, and shape the product directly alongside Evo software engineers. Identify emerging patterns across customers to transition your work from 'bespoke' to 'core product'.

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive technical experience, with significant time spent in both product and customer-facing engineering roles.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in an environment where the "playbook" is being written in real-time.

  • Technical curiosity: Actively exploring and experimenting with new technologies and tools, especially for agentic applications.

  • Engineering excellence: Experience maintaining high-availability systems; since FDEs write production code for customers, they must own the reliability of that code.

  • Proven experience defining and driving technical strategy and hands-on implementation with enterprise customers.
