The Opportunity
We’re looking for a growth-minded, analytical and innovative leader to join our Services Operations team to help accelerate our growth and long-term strategic impact.
Reporting to the Director, Services Operations, the Senior Manager, Services Operations is a highly visible and key leadership position that will lead Services Operations by playing an integral role within the Services organization. In this key role, you’ll help guide and influence business insights, key metrics, and help prescribe the overall model of success for Rapid7 Services. You’ll lead our planning and operational cadence while working directly with Services Leadership, Finance, and Commercialization (among others) at Rapid7. In this role you’ll be partnering across the entire organization with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other business operations teams. You must be adept at fostering relationships across teams, have exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead and influence in a fast-paced, matrixed and highly collaborative environment.

In this role you will:
Build, develop, and lead a team of analytical-minded individuals with skills aligned to reporting and analytics, process improvement, resource management, and financial and operational metric management, that will deliver various reporting and other needs that drive insights into the Services business.
Superior ability to build complex operating and financial models, incorporating company and financial data, to help the leadership team make investments and growth decisions while unlocking business insights and initiatives to improve the overall health of the business.
Manage and support Services P&L by forecasting and providing visibility into revenue performance.
Quickly Identify risks and opportunities with analytical detail to drive and support revenue and expense forecasts.
Work closely with Services and executive leadership to steward the overall performance of Services, and partner with stakeholders to drive growth acceleration and impact.
Lead and coordinate the annual business plan, working with key GTM and Operations leadership.
Lead capacity and investment planning for services.
Drive overall operational process improvements across the team.
Identify and assess critical strategic needs, and partner to drive actions with the business while proactively monitoring impact and performance.
Proactively communicate drivers and targets; Drive the cadence to understand and evaluate requests and expected outcomes to accelerate growth while improving investment leverage within the organization.
Drive various cadences to ensure overall success of Rapid7 services such as deal assurance, SOW review, pricing strategy discussions, reviews with revenue operations, etc.
Familiarity with a PSA solution (FinancialForce, Mavenlink) to drive scalable processes, automation, and analytics.
Work closely with our Services PMO to drive proper project management methodology and accountability.

7-9 years of experience in business operations, services operations and/or financial operations.
2-3 years’ managing a team in a similar role with a track record of developing and growing high performing individuals.
Ability to work cross-functionally to drive impact through influence and collaboration across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
Impact-oriented with a demonstrated record of driving cross-functional initiatives that impact top line growth and leverage.
Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, coupled with a proven ability to build complex analytical models while simplifying messaging.
Demonstrated impactful success in business plan development, operational planning and analytics, preferably at a fast-growing technology company.
Resilient & resourceful individual who enjoys leading teams to solve complex problems; A quick learner who is naturally curious and thrives in the face of the unexpected, ambiguity and change.
Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and “pick up a shovel.”
Possess a mindset of building scalable operational processes and continuous improvement.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team with changing priorities.

Strong work ethic and customer service mentality.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
