The Opportunity
Rapid7 is seeking a digital marketing professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and help propel us to our next phase of growth. The right candidate has hands-on experience running paid digital marketing campaigns within a demand generation team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Managing and executing our paid channels across Google (display and search), paid social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit)
- Identifying and testing other strategic cost per acquisitions platforms and programs
- Overseeing our SEO strategy by partnering with our content team to drive organic traffic growth across our web properties
- Accountable for digital lead activity to grow the database and acquire net-new contacts we can market to
- Working closely with the Global Demand Generation teams around the world to make sure we are supporting their efforts via digital channels
- Teaming up with our web strategy group to ensure that the campaigns we are driving lead to a seamless website experience focused on a quality user experience and lead acquisition
- Report on the effectiveness and impact of our digital programs from top to bottom of the funnel.
A typical day could include:
- Working with internal stakeholders to understand business trends across our various offerings
- Strategizing and implementing digital marketing plans across both paid and organic channels based off feedback, business direction, and revenue goals to help reach and exceed our targets
- Daily optimizations across paid programs to ensure that we are as efficient as possible with our budgets
- Gaining a deep understanding around the security space so that you can properly pitch Rapid7’s best-in-class solution and service offerings
- Socializing the impact that the digital marketing team is having via regular reporting
Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on paid search marketing campaign experience
- Preferred: Google Adwords certified (fundamentals and/or advanced search)
- In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), remarketing, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more)
- Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
- High degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to facilitate and influence change, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization
- The right candidate possesses a high sense of urgency and a willingness to experiment
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and analysis, simply and visually
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are musts
