Schedule:  Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
 
Salary: $80,000 / year
 
New Hire Sign On Bonus: $4000; $1333 upon completion of 30 days, $1333 upon completion of 6 months, $1334 upon completion of 12 months
 
Vinfen's HR Department is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join its busy and friendly team. The HR Manager will partner with operational managers providing counsel and advise on Company policy and best practices in the areas of performance management, coaching, progressive discipline, and employment law. Areas of responsibility include workplace investigations, unemployment hearings, drafting corrective actions, responding to employee and manager concerns and requests, and assisting in the development of new managers. Assistance in managing proper administration of leaves and suspensions is also a part of this position. Additionally, this role will be responsible for sourcing, screening, negotiating job offers and making those arrangements needed for new employees to begin their employment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in a HR generalist role required.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations, taking part in unemployment hearings, and responding to legal requests required.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach managers, interpret policy, field employee questions and requests, and to add value to the personnel morale and workplace health of area served.
  • Experience in high volume recruiting and high volume employee relations setting required.
  • Experience in a geographically distributed service industry such as human services, healthcare, hospitality, retail, etc. strongly preferred.
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Must be able to pass a CORI, driving record, reference, educational and professional licensure check as well as a multi-state background check.
