The Opportunity
As a result of our continued strong growth, we are adding a Talent Researcher to our Executive Recruiting team, responsible for research and sourcing for our leadership roles globally across all business functions at Rapid7. This highly visible role will build and manage pipelines of passive candidates across multiple searches at once. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated sourcing experience and will be expected to think outside the box on creating, developing and driving sourcing campaigns and methods. Equally important is the ability to build outstanding relationships across the Rapid7 organization. This role is crucial to our efforts to bring on the best leadership talent to drive and support Rapid7’s growth and scale!
Essential Responsibilities
- Partner with Executive Talent Partners and Executive Hiring Managers to gather profile requirements for leadership roles (Director to Senior Vice President)
- Research and mine various channels to identify and engage passive leadership talent and develop a quality candidate pipeline for open roles, as well as possible future hires
- Build strong relationships internally with key stakeholders as well as externally with potential candidates
- Create a positive candidate experience on all searches, including taking ownership of coordinating and scheduling interviews
- Suggest and Implement areas for efficiency gains and overall improvements in the executive recruiting process
- Continuously iterate on ways to provide a higher level of service for candidates and Rapid7’s own Executive Staff in the hiring process
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3- 5 years experience of sourcing and/or recruiting experience delivering results in either a corporate or agency setting
- Proven track record of success in sourcing and developing pipelines of passive candidates for leadership roles
- Desire to learn to understand the Rapid7 culture and success criteria
- A sense of urgency in delivering results while effectively working with the team
- Proven success and/or interest in working with a wide variety of executive candidates globally across diverse business groups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an orientation toward building and maintaining effective cross-functional relationships
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative problem solving skills
- Grace under pressure and comfort with ambiguity
