Who we are

Drizly is the world’s largest alcohol marketplace and the best way to shop beer, wine and spirits. Our customers trust us to be part of their lives – their celebrations, parties, dinners and quiet nights at home. We are there when it matters - committed to life’s moments and the people who create them. We partner with the best retail stores in over 1400 cities across North America to serve up the best buying experience. Drizly offers a huge selection and competitive pricing with a side of personalized content. That is what we do. Who we are is a different story.

We are more than just another tech company. There is an intellectual curiosity that occurs at Drizly. We have a desire to question, to understand, to figure it out. Bottom line, we solve it. We value not just the truth but the process to get to the truth, to deliberate, decide and then act. Most importantly, we care. We care about our customer. We care about our company. We care about our team. There will be long days and incredible challenges.

We are blazing a trail in an industry that hasn’t changed in nearly a century, and that doesn’t scare us (well, not all the time) -and even when it does, it doesn’t stop us, it energizes us.

Do you see yourself here? Read on.

Who you are

You are an empathetic and experienced talent acquisition partner with a track record of driving results and engagement. This is evidenced by a recent history of coaching junior team members while balancing a variety of senior-level stakeholders in a high-growth environment. You also have a firm point of view on sourcing and recruiting to bring diversity to candidate funnels, leveraging structure and process with a high degree of intentionality. This means you are highly principled and push others around you to be.

Not only do you hold yourself accountable to objectives with a strong bottom-line orientation, you also drive engagement by helping others achieve results, creating an inclusive environment where people are motivated to do their best work. To that end, you’re keenly aware of how to make each person on a team feel the meaning of their contributions.

A progressive problem solver, you’re constantly thinking about ways to attract top talent and increase diversity to meet current and future business needs. You also see a difference between partnering on talent acquisition and traditional recruiting methods, possess an ownership mentality, and can readily speak to your philosophy for “who” and “how” you hire.

Ideally, you have 5+ years of “in-house” experience recruiting in a tech environment where you’ve led a team.

What the role is

This role will lead a team of two business-focused Talent Partners, driving the talent acquisition strategy for Drizly’s marketing, G&A, people operations, sales, account management, and strategic partnerships organizations. This includes stakeholder management with senior leaders including several at the C-level and day-to-day supervision of the business Talent Acquisition team.

The Talent Acquisition Team Lead will set the tone by building a culture of connection and motivation, getting results against an ambitious hiring plan, and achieving measurable progress against our commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Lastly, the role will operate as a player-coach by owning the hiring process for manager-level positions, using those opportunities to model the right behavior for the rest of the team.

Please note: this role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States with the exception of Colorado.

In this role you will:

  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of 2 while reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition
  • Ensure accountability for hiring targets for all business-focused positions
  • Serve as a partner to several C-suite executives including Drizly’s CMO, COO, and SVP of People Operations

The Other Stuff

  • Competitive salary
