Who you are

You are a self-motivated problem solver and highly organized individual. You are adept at making sense of complex problems and are accustomed to multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborating with others comes naturally to you, and your integrity and authenticity helps you gain trust quickly with others. You have a proven ability in utilizing your financial acumen to understand and interpret the implications of key financial indicators as a means to support business decisions. 

You have a proven track record of success and at least 3 years of experience in payroll administration. We’d be extra impressed if you have previous experience in the e-commerce or bevalc industry.

What the role is

In this Payroll Administrator role, you will be an integral part of Drizly’s Finance team. You will support the Controller and the Finance team at large by fully owning the payroll administration process from start to finish. You will have a direct impact on building out processes within the accounting department and ensuring the business is compliant with best practices as we continue to scale.

Please note: this role can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States with the exception of Colorado.

In this role you will:

• Distribution of both salaried and hourly paychecks 
• Data entry of timecards & employee records
• Manage state to state tax and labor compliance, partnering with HR
• General journal entries related to payroll and benefits
• 401k Audit and Compliance management
