Who you are

You are an analytical savvy People Ops/HR business partner who places a high priority on developing others, adept at aligning career development goals with organizational objectives. You have a knack for cultivating innovation within technical functions and are skilled at drawing out more from others through your ability to relate openly with diverse groups of people across levels and functions. You are comfortable with data and leverage analytics to craft a story and rally the team around the goals set-forth. You are also not afraid of having difficult conversations. You excel in balancing stakeholders with varying needs and perspectives, while always aligning on the core mission of creating more successful partnerships, stronger talent, and increased productivity. 

You have 2+ years of people operations experience with a proven track record of developing technical talent and driving results. We'd be extra impressed if you come from a technical background. 

What the role is

In the Leadership Development Partner role, you will be an integral part of the People Operations team, responsible for supporting Engineering, Product, and Analytics in their development of talent and creation of high-performing organizations. You’ll have the unique opportunity to partner with leadership to develop their teams and drive the organization forward through training and development programs, organizational design strategies, and creating action plans for improving team engagement. 

Serving as the liaison between the People team and the business, you’ll identify gaps and ensure alignment between Talent Acquisition and the needs of the organization. In this role, you will be the go-to person within these functions for developmental conversations, team management and responsible for overall team engagement and retention. 

As part of your work, you will own People Analytics. You will have the unique opportunity to determine what Drizly’s needs are from a People Analytics perspective and what the priorities are for building out the first dashboard. 

This is an exciting role to support a high-growth organization in creating amazing talent and people analytics that set-up the organization for long-term success. 

In this role you will:

  • Drive and create function specific programming that engages and fosters talent 
  • Partner with executive level and managers within Engineering, Product, and Analytics to coach and improve tactics and strategies for managing teams 
  • Serve as the liaison between People and the Business, ensuring People/HR specialists are looped in as needed and tight alignment between Talent Acquisition and the Business. 
  • Conduct developmental conversations and be a key player in managing the key moments in a team members lifecycle; you are the go-to “People” person for these functions 
  • Own People Analytics (25% of time) 
  • Direct and plan people processes and communicate the impact of this work to stakeholders
